CPR and CPR Refresher course is fully certified by Life Saving Victoria (LSV) and the Royal Life Saving Society of Australia (RLSSA) and delivered to be consistent with current Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines.

For groups or individuals not requiring certification in the Nationally Accredited course HLTCPR20A, this course option provides a value for money alternative.

• RLSSA & LSV certification for 12 months (CPR refresher training for first aid trained persons should be undertaken on an annual basis)

• Set course fee for groups of up to 10 participants is $400.00, add $30.00 per person for participant numbers >10
  (maximum 20 persons per course)

Pre-requisites:

• Minimum participant age is 14 yrs

Course includes

• Basic life support including:
  • Recognition and first aid management of an unconscious/collapsed casualty
  • DRABCD
  • Rescue breathing and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) - 1 & 2 person,adult, children and infant variations
  • Practical training on adult, child and infant manikins
• Cross infection control including practical use of Pocket-Mask devices
• Calling for emergency services assistance
• Practical and theoretical assessment
• Additional topics may be covered at your request (i.e. choking, anaphylaxis)
